The Packers have reached an agreement with wide receiver Mecole Hardman for a one-year contract.

The Packers are bringing in wide receiver Mecole Hardman on a one-year contract, according to several reports. Hardman attracted interest from multiple teams, including the Bears. He has a chance to compete for the returner positions with the Packers, as he averaged 9.2 yards on 89 punt returns and 23.8 yards on 45 kickoff returns.

Hardman spent his first four years playing for the Chiefs. He moved to the Jets in free agency last year, but the Chiefs traded for him during the season. While with Kansas City, he played in just six games, starting two, and caught 14 passes for 118 yards. He did not participate in the playoffs.

In Super Bowl LVIII, Hardman made the game-winning touchdown in overtime, helping the Chiefs defeat the 49ers 25-22 and wrap up the 2023 season.

Over his six seasons in the NFL, Hardman has played in 80 games, starting 28 of them. He has made 178 receptions for 2,302 yards and scored 16 touchdowns.
